Drosophila Enhancer of Split Complex CSB library

Notes:

  • Conserved sequence blocks (CSBs) were curated from EvoPrints of the respective Drosophila enhancers.
  • Enhancer characterization references are provided in Table 1 (Brody et al. 2008).
  • Many of the enhancers listed here exhibited CSBs flanking the enhancer described in the literature. These CSBs are included in the list below. When the enhancer described in the literature extended into an ORF, coding sequences were removed from the analysis.
  • Indicated for each CSB is the name of the enhancer [for example m3 is the E(spl) region transcript m3 (HLHm3)], followed by the sequential number of the CSB (for example 001 to 032 for m3) as it appeared in the EvoPrint from which it was extracted, and then the direction of the sequence (F or R for forward and reverse-complement).
