Notes:

  • Conserved sequence blocks (CSBs) were curated from EvoPrints of the respective Drosophila enhancers.
  • Enhancer characterization references are provided in Table 1 (Brody et al. 2008).
  • Indicated for each CSB is the name of the enhancer [for example ac_dc is the dorsocentral bristle enhancer of achaete, followed by the sequential number of the CSB (for example 001 to 028 for ac_dc) as it appeared in the EvoPrint from which it was extracted, and then the direction of the sequence (F or R for forward and reverse-complement).
