Notes:

  • Each of these conserved sequence blocks (CSBs) were derived from EvoPrints of the respective mammalian enhancers.
  • References are provided in Brody et al (2006).
  • Indicated for each enhancer is the name of the enhancer [for example forkhead_boxf1 enhancer refers to conserved regions in upstream and downstream gut mesenchymal (mesodermal) enhancers of forkhead box f1 as described by Kim et al. (2005). J. Biol. Chem. 280: 37908-16] sequential number of the CSB (for example 001 to 015 for forkhead_boxf1) followed by the direction of the sequence (F or R for forward and reverse-complement).
