4. Sequence Gaps. EvoPrinterHD searches the aligning regions for sequence gaps that are indicated by blocks of the Ns. The number of gaps in an aligning region is noted and the total number of Ns is also indicated. For example, in the highest score alignment region for D. simulans the algorithm detected a single gap that contains 1000 Ns (red arrow). To view the location of the sequence gap(s) in the eBLAT, click on the species name (blue arrow) and scroll down to the test species readout.
